Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information.
Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures.
Serves and protects the hospital community by adhering to professional standards, hospital policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and jcaho standards.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; participating in professional organizations; maintaining licensure.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Successful completion of a nursing assistant program and obtain CNA certification Certified in CPR Driver's License Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision Empathy for the needs of the client Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills Treats clients, staff and the public with courtesy, respect and presents a positive image Works as team member START IMMEDIATELY AFTER ARRIVAL If you are wanting to use your CNA status to climb the ladder in the health care industry Minot, North Dakota is the place you want to be.
