Under the direction of the Operations Accounting Manager, the Accounting Intern is responsible for assisting with the Operations Accounting functions the Company. Will Have Exposure To:
Payroll Processing Billing Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Account Reconciliation Data Management Many State & Local Taxation Req's Collaboration & Teamwork Other duties as assigned Requirements:
Must be able to effectively develop good relationships with employees and managers. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be proficient in business writing. Must have the ability to perform in a deadline/detail-oriented environment. Education and/or
Experience:
Pursuing a degree in accounting or business Proficient computer skills required (Windows, MS Word, Excel) Language Skills:
Ability to speak clearly and effectively. Ability to communicate with diverse groups of people and routinely produce positive outcomes. Ability to present information and respond to questions from employees and ma
nagers. Physical Demands:
Frequently sits, stands, walks, stoops and kneels. May be required to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds (box of copier paper). Environment:
