Responsibilities:
Lead improvement projects delivering results in off-spec material, scrap and premium freight reduction. Deploy internal quality improvement system to mentor other project leaders. Champion Built in Quality by delivering training, workshops assessments and coaching at plants and warehouses. Built in Quality elements are problem solving, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), control plan, six sigma, statistical controls, error proofing, and change control. Develop and implement policies, standards and systems related to improving quality Member of global Built in Quality team, member of North American Quality Management Team Share best practices across North America and the global Built in Quality team Drive the transformation of quality
improvement at Technologies North America focusing on internal quality REQUIREMENTS:
BS Engineering, BS Chemistry, BS Material Science or related field of study required; MBA or Masters of Science Degree preferred 10
years of Quality work experience 5
years of demonstrated strong leadership skills leading six sigma and lean improvement efforts Excellent relationship building, communication and influencing skills Demonstrated success in leading teams of problem solvers with a balance of reactive and proactive quality efforts Ability to travel extensively (up to 75% overnight travel per year) Quality Certification (6-Sigma MBB, Shanin Journeyman, etc. ) preferred Click here to apply.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
