A Grand Haven company is seeking a full-time 1st shift Press Operator/Die Setter.
Contract-to-permanent position with a complete benefits package available upon hire-in.

Summary:
Will assist in the organization in meeting customer requirements by manufacturing quality parts utilizing a progressive die/automatic press.
Job
Responsibilities:
- Change dies as directed by following the companies die setting procedures - Ensure that the operator instruction and set-up sheets for each job are reviewed for any changes and read in entirety prior to running production - Ensure that work area/work station is clean, neat, and organized - Ability to align the die, steel, feeder, and secure the equipment - Ability to adjust the press, feed, coil height, knockout, and air pins as needed - Set up peripheral equipment such as guards, conveyors, and lubricators
Qualifications:
- Previous press and die setting experience is required - 2 - 4 years as a progressive die setter within the steel stamping industry with 200-600 ton presses is required - Ability to set up a die from scratch - GED or H.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
