Unit Service Executive

Responsibilities :
The Unit Service Executive (USE) is an entry-level position that involves serving a geographic area.
Duties include promoting, supervising, and working through adult volunteers including parents and community leaders.
Different aspects of the position include the following:
Membership Recruitment USEs work with district volunteers and community leaders to recruit, train, and motivate a District Membership Recruitment Committee.
Fundraising USEs work with volunteers and recruit leadership for the Friends of Scouting fundraising campaign, meeting the financial needs of the organization.
Public Relations Scouting depends on community support and recognition.
USEs must have good communication skills and be able to tell the Scouting story to the public.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
United States citizenship or declared intention to become a U.
S.
citizen.
Adult must have attained age 21 unless prohibited by any applicable law.
People-oriented, having the ability to work well with adult volunteers, community and business leaders, and representatives of other organizations.
Able to work varied hours when necessary to achieve positive objectives.
Believe in the BSA and subscribe to its principles and standards.
Be approved to receivea professional Scouting commission.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
