Global Assembly Warehousing:
MFE0000762 Job Description This position is a key position in the newly formed Global Assembly Warehousing (GAW) organization.
This is an opportunity to be involved in the alignment of Customer Care and Aftersales with Manufacturing Business Processes and Systems Development.
The role would be responsible for working as a key resource and assisting in the Design, Development, and Execution of the common global business processes for Assembly Warehousing operations.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Assist the process guardian for Global Assembly Warehousing Business Processes in the area of strategy implementation - Assist in the development of best process methodology to drive both common processes and internal benchmarking - Assist in the execution of best process link and leverage activity across all Global assembly warehousing operations - Utilize strong operations and project implementation experience to achieve high impact global results - Develop and maintain standardized work for global operations related to material flow process design and optimization - Coordinate with ME, GPSC, Facilities, and 3rd Party operations leaders on an as required basis to achieve project milestones - Assist, as required, with business process support for development of WMS integration with Manufacturing Systems Qualifications Basic Required :
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience :
10
years of experience in operations or supply chain management :
High level of expertise with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint :
Ability to travel 40:
50 of the time to implement project deliverables and may include global travel :
Proven success with cross:
functional project development and execution in a manufacturing or distribution environment :
Ability to handle special assignments and prepare presentations :
Communication skills (oral and written), and the ability to present findings to all levels of the organization :
Attentiveness to detail and precision :
Proactive work style and demonstrated desire to take on additional responsibilities Basic Preferred :
Familiarity with with an Operations Environment / 3PL and Warehousing Systems :
Business understanding of both Manufacturing and CCA execution :
Cross:
functional work experience :
