Job Description:
Position Description Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of strategies and goals for assigned commodities in support of overall divisional business objectives.
Formulate and implement processes to build a best in class strategic sourcing organization.
Leads sourcing analysis and selection process and performs cost analyses and make versus buy analyses as required.
Leads development of contract strategy.
Negotiates, establishes, monitors and enforces supplier contracts and agreements.
Develop strong partnership relationships with key suppliers as well as other disciplines within the businesses.
Obtain and communicate market condition information and technology trends related to commodities and suppliers.
Perform cost analyses and make versus buy analyses as required.
Responsible for assuring cost standards are established for annual operating budgets.
Collaborate across functions, divisions, and campuses to develop scorecards and business reviews for key suppliers.
Organize and lead scorecard review meetings and business reviews.
Communicate key supplier management updates and decisions to multiple levels in the organization including Executive Leadership.
Collaboration on sourcing strategies across multiple divisions where possible.
Develops and benchmarks best practices among the Divisions and shared suppliers.
Manage and develop continuous improvement programs, addressing quality, delivery, service as well as cost.
Basic Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Supply Management, Business, Finance, Engineering or related field.

years in Supply Management with focus on strategic sourcing and supplier development.
Knowledge of supplier processes and supply chain risk factors including experience in assessing and mitigating risk in the supply base.
Ability to effectively communicate and present information to suppliers, team members, team leaders, and top management.
Ability to build relationships and influence across multiple functions and levels both internally and externally.
Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and cost reduction methodologies.
Experience with supplier metrics and measurement methodologies and supporting systems.
