The Electrical Controls Engineer will work on a project from the initial brief, through the design and development stage, to the testing of one or more prototypes, right through to final manufacture and implementation.

Responsibilities:
This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and innovative Electrical Engineer that has a depth of knowledge at the software system level spanning plant floor systems, process equipment PLC controls as well as depth of knowledge at the station level of servo mechanical subsystem controls, servo analog / digital electronics, and real time embedded systems firmware.
This role is responsible for defining, developing and integrating data acquisition systems networked into GE's plant floor systems with the ability to link the system to software analytics at the top level.
The role is also responsible to develop firmware / hardware into novel servo:
driven machinery and type of construction for the electrical and servo systems operations.
Lead the work associated with developing specifications as to software and product requirements and follow up construction and testing of prototypes, assisting with analyzing results and corrective redesign as required.

Work as a plant floor information system (PFIS) engineer responsible for developing, programming and testing new factory information systems and PLC Diagnostics Logic.
:
Debug PLC Programming, design and draw plant data high way network.
:
Design and draw animated PFIS graphic screen for faults and alarms.
:
Configure and debug PFIS Workcell Controller.
:
Design PFIS Marquees layout network, configuring the PFIS Workcell Controller to ship PLC diagnostics messages to PFIS Marquees on the plant floor.

Design and draw a complete Plant Data Highway network.
