2nd and 3rd Shift Welders

We are currently seeking a Repair Welder for our client in Wixom, MI. We are looking for welders to work 2nd and 3rd shift. This person will repair surface defects such as dings, dents, and buckles, in exhaust systems by performing the following duties:
Visually examines and feels surface of part to determine extent of defect. Fills holes and gaps of defected part by Mig welding area based on specifications. Smooth welded or defected area by Tig welding if required per specification. 100% repair work on parts requires operator sign-off and documentation of all non-conformances. Parts are placed on in-process racks to be leak tested Conduct all business related activities for, and on the behalf of the company within the limits of applicable local, state, and federal legal requirements. Other duties as assigned. Basic Qualification / Work
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 1 to 3 months' related experience and/or training in manufacturing setting. One
year certificate from college or technical school. All welders must pass each standard global re-certification test as required. Required to take qualification tests using the GMAW (MIG/MAG) and GTAW (TIG) processes as referenced in ENA welder policy. Competence:

This position involves working indoors around mechanical and hazards, fumes, irritants, with exposure to cold, heat and high noise levels under adverse conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
