This 6th level technician should have basic knowledge, skills, training, and learning ability that could be used in other Engineering organizations.
This entry level technician position is for technicians with little or no experience that have some formal education in a core skill area.
They should be able to handle basic project assignments with supervision.
Major Job Duties and
Responsibilities:

Performs the more complex and specialized mechanical and/or electrical tests on transmission products :
Maintains records on work performed, analyzes data collected and reports results :
Coordinates and exchanges findings with engineering personnel on an occasional basis :
Fabrication of test fixtures :
Creative on logical dynamometer testing Qualifications Required Skills/
Experience:

Knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel) :
Knowledge with Lotus Notes :
Knowledge of dynamometer instrumentation and electronics :
Good interpersonal skills involving ability to work effectively cross:

culturally :
Automotive and transmission experience preferred :
Dynamometer experience preferred :
Good written and oral communication skills necessary to analyze and solve issues :
Ability to work well with others, exhibiting teamwork skills :
