Polyurethane Chemical Engine 80,000 to 95,000k Title:
Polyurethane Chemical Engineer Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Prepare and implement operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities with other unit functions to ensure production and quality of products meet expected standards.
Work closely with R and D, Product Line Management and Engineering on new product development and/or improved product performance, assessing packaging needs and quality, testing alternate raw materials for product performance enhancement and/or cost optimization, and support of other activities such as field tests, competitive and market assessments, etc.

Review customer orders, inventories, and production capacities to determine quantities and prioritiesof production to be scheduled and develops and implements a plan of department operations to efficiently meet those requirements and insures employee, material, and equipment resources are maintained to meet production demands.
Actively work to improve operational efficiencies and product quality through changes in procedures and equipment.
Maintain time, production, utilization, efficiency, quality and other records as directed.
Computer Equipment and Software RequirementsThe position requires the ability to work with a personal computer in a Windows environment.
Requires proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Education and
Experience:
Requires a BS in Chemical Engineering plus a minimum of 2:
5 years' experience in the manufacture of polyurethane based products, moisture mitigation membranes, and moisture cured polyurethanes.
Professional Engineering, EIT, and/or an MBA would be a plus.
