Job Description:
Plans, directs and manages a product development pipeline, both strategic and tactical, from concept stage to commercialization.
Specifically, product development, program management and marketing leadership with significant visibility with one of our key business franchises that includes:
hospital bed frames, therapeutic support surfaces, furniture, disposables as well as business development opportunities.
Essential Functions:
1.
Develop and own 5 year global product development and development plans with right innovation and product cadence aligned with brand architecture.
2.
Ensure consumer insights are leveraged to drive fact:
based, consumer:
driven decisions that support key brand positioning.
3.
Own profitability of platforms/products.
Evaluate their complexity.
Develop and execute strategies to simplify platforms/products and align future product plans with the strategy.
7.
Employee engagement:
Responsible and accountable for actions promoting an environment that fosters personal growth and development.
Qualifications:
:
Bachelors in Marketing, Engineering or related discipline.
MBA preferred.
:
Minimum 3 years of experience in product development is required.
5 years or more preferred.
:
Track record of delivering extraordinary results.
:
Proven project management experience; excellent meeting organization and facilitation skills.
PMO creation or management experiences a significant plus.
:
Very strong working knowledge of a Stage Gate methodology :
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT :
Up to 50 annually (working with customer and account managers).
