Qualifications:
High School Diploma or G.

equivalent.
Certification as a Nursing Assistant preferred with experience in the role of Nursing Assistant or Certification as a Nursing Assistant without job experience is also acceptable.
Current Heartsaver Certification.
Successful completion of 120:
day introductory period required to achieve knowledge of policies relative to job duties and patient care unit.
Works in patient care area environment which may include exposure to communicable diseases, unpleasant odors, acute patient conditions, potential exposure to infection, hazardous gases.
Physical ability to lift and move patients, supplies and equipment.
Prolonged standing, walking, and lifting of patients, supplies and equipment.
