Growing independent community hospital in North Central Michigan looking for an Emergency Medicine Physician.
The medical offices are located in professional medical building attached to the hospital.
All practices utilize an Electronic Health Record that is shared within the medical group and hospital with remote access.
Designated Patient Centered Medical Home Emergency Medicine Department:
Part:
time position working six 12 hour shifts a month with plans to transition to full time.
Busy 24 hour physician staff Emergency Department seeing 14,000 visits a year.
Joining five physicians and two physician assistants.
Ten patient rooms with separate triage area.
Facility is currently seeking a Trauma Level Designation Four.
Helipad and local ambulance services for transporting patients.
Meditech electronic medical record shared with hospital and medical group.
What were looking for in an ER Physician:
Board certified or eligible if has plans to complete board certification within two years of completion of training or hire.
Stable work/training history without prior history of license or disciplinary action.
Strong computer skills with prior electronic medical record use preferred.
Excellent English communication skills required due to minimal ethnic diversity in the area.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, hospital personnel and community members.
Bottom Line Requirements:
