The Clinical Social Worker, under general supervision, practice in adherence works with a team that includes the Division Administrator, Project Leaders, and Program Managers to ensure the Health Department achieves its strategic objectives and key results in alignment with its mission:
to improve the health and quality of life of Detroiters through innovative public health policy, clinical service, programs, and partnerships.
Provides clinical assessment, interventions, and services in adherence to regulatory standards, Code of Ethics, license that governs the practice of social work in the state of Michigan.
The Clinical Social Worker supports division leadership in implementing programs and services to best meet the public health needs of the community.
Duties and responsibilities include program coordination and implementation, daily operations, and communication.
