Fuel Economy and Performance Analysis Engineer:
POW0001812 Responsible for developing vehicle level models for vehicle performance, Drive Quality, Fuel Economy and Calibration analysis.

Develop and exercise new analytical techniques to predict the performance and fuel economy of powertrain technologies such as variable valve timing, discrete variable valve lift, cylinder deactivation, direct:
injection, six:
speed and CVT transmissions, etc.

Develop and exercise new analytical techniques to support powertrain control algorithm evaluation and/or calibration :
Participate in product design and development teams and regularly present analysis results to engineering peers and management :
Document analysis objectives, conclusions, results, and assumptions using a standard report template :
Travels as required Qualifications Required Skills and
Experience:

BS Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience :
3 years experience with vehicle fuel economy and performance simulation :
Highly proficient with Matlab/Simulink Preferred:

MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering :
